- Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco.
- Travel by tourist transport to the train station in Ollantaytambo. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
- Board the train at Ollantaytambo station.
- Enjoy a scenic 1 hour and 30 minute journey along the Vilcanota River, taking in views of the Andes Mountains and the cloud forest, until you reach Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
- Meet your assigned guide at the Aguas Calientes train station (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
- Short walk to the Consettur bus station.
- 30-minute bus ride along the winding road that climbs to the entrance gate of this wonder of the world.
- Entrance to the Inca citadel and document check.
- Guided tour of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours through the main circuits and sectors: the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, and the agricultural terraces.
- Time to take classic photographs and soak up the energy of the place.
Departure from the archaeological zone and descent by bus to the town.
Free time in the village to have lunch at the restaurant of your choice, explore the artisan market or relax.
- Please arrive at the train station (we recommend arriving 30 minutes before departure).
- Return train journey from Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo) to either Ollantaytambo or Poroy station, depending on your ticket.
- Arrival at the designated station and boarding of the tourist transport.
- Return trip to downtown Cusco.
Arrival in Cusco and disembarkation at a central point (such as Plaza San Francisco) or direct transfer to the hotel, depending on the service contracted.
